NEB Science

In grades 11 and 12, we follow the academic curriculum prescribed by the National Examination Board (NEB). The curriculum has two components – the compulsory part and an optional part. The compulsory curriculum is designed to encourage students to acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills to solve problems and make informed decisions so that they can live a meaningful and happy life anywhere in the world. The optional part is designed to enable learners to develop inquiring minds and curiosity about subjects of their interest so as to provide the foundation for advanced studies and their professional lives.

At KWS, we provide students with an array of classroom activities beyond their requisite courses in the form of non-credit courses including foreign language instruction, communication skills and presentation coaching, to enhance and stimulate their information literacy skills. The classes run Sundays through Fridays and between 8:00 in the morning to 3:30 in the evening. We aim to equip the students with a strong basis for advanced studies and stimulate innovative and entrepreneurial thinking.

At KWS we offer the following subjects under four options. Students shall study three subjects – one subject each from any three options.
