World Book Day Celebration

World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and - most importantly it’s a celebration of reading. It’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world. Although it is celebrated on April 23, Kathmandu World School celebrated the day on March 7, 2019 along with schools all over the UK and Ireland to avoid clashes with the school year break. Today was dedicated to books and characters that children love. Children shared stories of books and dressed up as their favorite book character!
