Warm greetings to all prospective students and parents!
We feel a deep sense of pride that we have been able to develop Kathmandu World School, a school of a truly international standard in Nepal, and have begun elementary classes (Grade 1 – 5) from the Academic Session 2075. We are indeed overwhelmed by the responses of our parents in the opening year itself despite the fact that all the facilities are not in place due to the construction still going on.
We are now prepared to begin Grade 11 classes (Plus 2) from this Academic session, and have planned to offer both Science and Management courses for limited students this year. The school has state of the art infrastructure and facilities, and a strong team of faculty who are highly competent, experienced and dedicated to teaching-learning. Within a safe and stimulating environment for learning, we help students become knowledgeable, confident, responsible and proactive individuals with international mindedness to be successful in the digital and ever-changing world, and develop a passion for lifelong learning. We also strive to instill in the students our core values such as integrity, compassion, respect, responsibility, collaboration, and dynamism, which will enable them to become valued members of society and world at large.
The school is administered by a leadership team who have a wealth of experience in the academic administration and management of education institutes from Elementary to Plus 2 level in Nepal, and academic advisors with experience in leading international schools. At KWS, we focus on faculty development through KWS Professional Development Centre that regularly organizes in–house training and workshops to constantly update them with the latest developments in global educational standards and teaching-learning pedagogies. The school further aspires to attract students from neighboring countries to fulfill its vision to become an international and multicultural community, which will further enrich the educational experience of the students.
We open admission for Grade 11 students, and invite prospective students and parents to take advantage of the facilities available at KWS, and partner us in creating a better future.
